This malt is the perfect base for any wheat beer style, especially hefeweizen.
Weyermann Pale Wheat Malt contributes robust, malty-sweet flavor with notes of bread, nuts, toffee and light caramel. Wheat malts high protein content contributes to body and head. It contributes very little color. Pale wheat malt is a MUST ingredient for American wheat ales as well.
1.6 -2.3° Lovibond.
Use up to 80% for wheat beers, or in smaller proportions to add body and head retention to kolschs, altbiers, and other ales.
