  • Condition: This can be used as a bunkbed if you have another one like this, but works well on it's own (I don't have another one!) The cardboard insert looks old enough and original, but is in bad shape. Many ripped and torn areas that have been stapled down. Some staples rusty. Otherwise in good condition. The blanket and pillow were added by the original owner, and the blanket has a stain on one corner area. Also one on the back on a block near that corner. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. There are quite a few areas where the Wool has separated or is separating from the adjacent block or the trim edge. Flannel covered Pillow has some "pilling".     Nice wooden Doll Bed. Cute design. This may have been part of a bunkbed set, but functions very well on it's own as a 24" long bed for dolls up to 21 inches, including the American Girl doll. From the late 1940s into the early 1950s. The cardboard bottom on the slats is stapled on, and looks like a cardboard replica of a blanket, But I have seen another of these beds that has a wood bottom, so I don't know if this one is altered, or that one was altered. The Wool blanket has shrinkage and puckering of the Satin Blanket trim, and there is a large, old stain on one edge and corner, also, right near the large stain is a smaller spot on a square of the design.PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS. Cardboard bottom has a lot of old tears and some chips missing Lots of staples, some are rusty. Very sturdy, not flimsy or unstable. Approx. 24" x 14" x 10". Blanket is 25" x 33". Flannel covered pillow is approx. 10" x 8",  PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS AND READ ALL INFO BEFORE PURCHASE.
