    Up for sale is this early vintage Silver Plated Silent Butler hinged Crumb Catcher pan also sometimes called a Ash Butler, These were common prior to the modern period.  The bottom is marked JLS Silver Plate and the top is nicely engraved with a Dolphin and has a solid turned wood handle.  The diamensions are 6 1/2 inches round by 11 inches.  View Photos
