luster hops offer a smooth, neutral, bitterness complimented by a spicy and floral aroma with fruity notes. A great choice in Lagers, Stouts, and Porters.

luster is the oldest variety grown in the U.S. Origin of the root stock is uncertain. Until the late 1970s, it was one of only a few varieties growing in the U.S. and accounted for the majority of USA hop acreage.  Excellent general purpose hop with medium and well-balanced bittering potential. This hop leaves no undesirable aroma properties. Good for dark beers with roasted and chocolaty aromas. Aroma is a strong floral. Can give a black currant aroma/flavor.

lso known as Golden Cluster, this dual-purpose hop sometimes used in the reproduction of historical styles adds a black currant aroma and flavor profile. An excellent general purpose hop with balanced bittering and aroma.
