Victorian Signed silver plate Pheasant figural toothpick holder frame and Smith Brothers decorated satin milk glass RIBBED COLUMN toothpick holder.  The toothpick holder frame was made circa 1890's and measures 5 inches in height and 6 1/2 inches in width, the base measures 5 1/4 inches wide by 2 7/8  inches.  The toothpick holder platform measures 1 7/8 inches in diameter.  The Smith Brothers decorated satin milk glass RIBBED COLUMN toothpick holder fits in the frame perfectly. It fits the frame exactly, it slides in easily and fits with no play, in fact the toothpick holder cannot be spun about in the frame as the pheasant neck is between the columns of the toothpick holder.   The silver plate is worn as shown in the pictures.  The toothpick holder frame tilts slightly as shown in the picture.  The item is in excellent shape and has no damage other than the silver plate is worn as shown in the pictures.

I pack well, I use newspaper (have shipped thousands of items over 35 years).  I will use peanuts and bubble wrap, if I have them from recycling, but I will not purchase them as I think they are very bad for the environment (floating plastic garbage heap in the Pacific).
