OT MIX SPARKOLLOID™ is perfect for clearing homebrew Whites, Reds, Rosé, Fruits, Ciders, and Meads.  It is used extensively in commercial winemaking for superior clarification of wine.  Sparkolloid™ is a benign fining agent especially formulated to clarify wine without impacting aroma, color, body or flavor.  It can be used after bentonite or carbon fining to help compact lees. Sparkolloid™ can also be helpful in removing haze left by other fining agents.  Saves a lot of time waiting for wine to clear naturally.  Especially effective when used after bentonite or activated charcoal fails to clear a wine.  The best fining to remove activated charcoal residue from distilled fluids.

ontains diatomites and alginates, both of which are naturally occurring ingredients.  Clarifies by removing protein haze and other impurities.  Sparkolloid™ has a strong positive charge and attracts negatively charged particles.  Works by attracting negatively charged particles in microscopic clumps and falling to the bottom of the carboy with them,  forming compact, stable lees that are easy to rack off.

espite the directions on the package, use 1 teaspoon per gallon or 3 teaspoons per 5 gallons in wine or shine. Add Sparkolloid™ to 1/2 cup boiling hot water and mix intermittantly for 5 minutes or until all the clumps are broken and the mix is creamy. Reheat during the process if necessary.  Add to the wine while still warm and stir in gently.  Takes 1-2 weeks to clear.  This is fresh C&B package with the new BSG label.
