    SALESMAN SAMPLE ANTIQUE SPINNING WHEEL
    I am offering this salesman sample / doll size / child size spinning wheel for the first time on the public market - it had belonged to the original owner / doll collector who amassed her collection from antique stores and private sales over many years. They were lovingly cared for by the owner. I recently purchased this item from the niece who had inherited items from her aunt in the early 1960s and stored them away. The niece had no interest in doll collecting. She was moving to a smaller home and no longer wanted to store them. I bought the entire doll collection from her which includes dolls and children's items stored away by the niece for more than 50 years. Watch for more listings.
    Spinning Wheels Details
    - 11 1/2" high, carved wood with great detail, pump the treadle and the wheel turns, the bobbin appears to be complete.
    Included is a small mound of raw wool.
    Condition  -
    It has been mounted on a piece of varnished plywood not original to the wheel. There is a long rod with finial that matches the wheel's carvings, n
    ot sure what the piece was used for or if original.
    It got snapped after the photo shoot and can be glued for repair.
    There is glue on the brace connecting the treadle. Seems to be working just as it should.
