    Here is a rare and seldom seen Victorian Silk Lined Mechanical Fan Jewelry Casket/Box by the Pairpoint Mfg Company. Made in USA. Circa 1890's. Quadruple silverplate. Listed as number 916 in the 1894 Pairpoint Catalog. Highly ornate. It stands 8 1/2" to the top of the handle, is 6 1/4" long and 3 1/4" wide. I do not polish my finds. I leave that choice up to the buyer. This is a Pairpoint piece that is rarely offered for sale. One like this is featured on the cover of the 1894 Pairpoint Manufacturing Company Catalog. .
