Up for auction is a gold plated bronze ear cuff having belonged to the artist, Prince and given to one of his band members. It weighs 16 grams and measures 2" long. Comes with a letter of authenticity from his band member that he gave it to. The hand signed letter explains how Prince referred to his band as "family." He was known to gift them his personal items as a gesture of his gratitude. In 2007 this band member, a singer, dancer and percussionist, performed with him in London and he took this off and gave it to her. She will donate a portion of these proceeds to one of his favorite charities, The Make a Wish Foundation. The winning bidder will receive the cuff and letter via FedEx. Due to privacy, only the winning bidder will have the name of the band member. Internet searches easily verify her involvement with the band. While we would like to post an image of the letter as some of you may ask, it is impossible. In order to maintain the integrity of letters of authenticity and to prevent pirating, it will only be disclosed to the winning bidder.
