    This helmet is used. That scratch you see on the left was where I broke my collarbone in two places from being bucked off by a mule. My head was fine. Other scratches are there too. When you train equine, sometimes you come off but this helmet protected me well. My hat size is 6 7/8 if that helps with fit. jrrds
