    Description

Up for bid is an unusual pair of Scottish / English silverplate figural condiment sets in the form of thistle flowers.  The sets are about 4 3/4 inches wide by 5 inches deep by 3 1/4 inches tall.  The bases are formed as thistle leaves, and the curved ring handles are stems.  There are three “flowers”, one an open salt, one a lidded mustard pot and one a pepper shaker with a screw-on lid.  The shakers sit on pins, while the other pieces screw on and off of the frames.  The frames are simply numbered “26” and “34”, respectively.  There are no other marks.
Condition on the sets is fairly good overall.  There is some minor corrosion of the container interiors.  There is minor wear through on the bases.  Some fine old comdiment sets!
