Pair Antique Victorian Empire Art Silver Repousse Nouveau Brushes and Pin Box.
Lovely pair of brushes in the same art nouveau rose pattern, these are marked Empire Art Silver but I think they are plate. One of the brushes separates from the silver back easily, they are wood backed and fit into the silver backing, so probably just a little bending would keep it in place. The box is in the same style but a different pattern and not marked that I see. But it's still really cute and I think these items have been together for some time. The box is 4" long, the brushes are about 5" x 3.5".
