Ornate Aesthetic Silverplate JAMES W TUFTS Pickle Castor Frame and Tongs 1880s

Description

Offered here is an antique Victorian Era, Aesthetic Quadruple Silverplate Pickle Castor Frame and pickle tongs by James W Tufts. This frame stands  12" in total height. The tongs are approx. 6 1/4" in length. It has a very ornate leaf and floral cattail pattern on the four footed base. The inside diameter of the well to hold your jar is 3 1/4" This castor frame is in very good condition and is clearly marked for James W Tufts, Boston, warranted Quadruple Plate 2361 1/2.
The plating is also in good condition and there are no breaks or repairs. If you have a specific pickle jar you want to use in this frame, please measure for correct fit.
