Maglite Tube Charging Connection Center End Cap Aluminum D Cell

Description

This is the center connector and charge connector for the rechargeable Maglite. It is the part that goes between the main body tube and the head and makes the connection for the charging circuit.
Great for making D cell size end caps or adapters because it is already threaded on one side for the D cell threads and has a 3/8 hole already in the center.
The part is made from aluminum with one side threaded to fit the body, the same thread as a D cell Maglite tail cap, and a smaller thread to fit the head of the light. Inside are some plastic insulators and parts to complete the circuit. These can be removed if you are making a custom wired setup, leaving a 3/8" hole in the center.
The first two pics show a stripped / bare unit, the others a complete one as shipped.
