This listing is for a gorgeous silver plate covered casserole made by Israel Freeman & Sons Ltd. - IFS. This beautiful casserole has very ornate rim with a melon shaped cover and ornate handle.  It is marked on the underside IFS Ltd, made in England and the symbol for Hand Forged.  The covered dish measures 5 3/4 inches tall with lid 1 3/4 without.  The inside of the casserole measure 7 inches round and 9 1/4 inches round with trim.  Making of piece dates between 1900 - 1940.
