ere's a one pound nitrogen flushed foil packet of high quality Red Star 'Super Start' fresh dated distiller's active dry yeast (DADY).  Ferments up to 14% alcohol before slowing.  This is THE go to yeast for American style Whiskeys, Moonshine and Co2 production.  Can be coaxed as high as 22%.  Also great to launch rockets with.   These are all repackaged by LD CARLSON, the distributor from the original 22lb carton foil cartons (see my other items).  Package and label varies by distributor, time of year, and availability but this is always Red Star brand DADY.  This is the same as the Crosby & Baker and BSG packaged Red Star DADY we have been selling for years.  Some old packages and labels are shown for your comparison.
This is enough yeast for 500-1000 gallons of mash or sugar wash.  Most users increase dosage for more rapid fermentation.  Add directly to fermenter as mash is added or add and stir.  Refridgerate after opening.  Requires the addition of yeast nutrients for healthy fermentation.   We have Energizer and FERMAX brand nutrients in bulk and can ship with your yeast.
DIRECTIONS:
Use about 0.125 - .25 teaspoons of yeast per gallon of wort.  Pitch directly into the fermenting vessel or rehydrate first in 95° F water.  You can double or triple this amount for a faster start.
