his is the finest quality brewing syrup made.  There are similar products sold just slightly cheaper in a clear plastic bag - messy when you open the bag and it leaves the product unprotected from sunlight which can cause off flavors.  Some of these syrups are not Belgian at all they are "Belgian Style" and contain molasses and corn syrup.  It is worth paying the extra buck or so to use the real thing so that you will not miss the fine degree of flavor you are paying for in the first place!  Brews made with this PREMIUM brand have won MANY AWARDS unlike the generic "candy syrup" in see-through pouches that have won none.

o easy to use - Just add Candi Syrup during the boil.  To improve pouring from the stand up pouches during cool conditions, place the unopened pouch in a small bowl of water at 120F and let sit for 10 minutes. The warmer syrup will have a better flow rate and will pour better.  Rinse the pouch to get every drop!  If you need to add Candi Syrup to the primary or secondary, boil the syrup in an equal amount of water until it is well dissolved, otherwise it will sink straight to the bottom and cake up in your fermenter.  One pack adds 1% alcohol to a 5 gal batch.
