Ashford drop spindle 3.3 oz, 3.5" wide whorl, unfinished

Description

This drop spindle is new, unused, unfinished and requires a hook to be installed at one end or the other (an ordinary small brass cup hook works perfectly). I prefer a bottom whorl spindle, but this can be used either way, depending on which end of the shaft you install the cup hook.  The weight of whorl and shaft together is 3.3 oz.  The whorl itself is 3.5" in diameter. This is excellent for heavier ply yarns and long staple wools.
