elegant pair of French silver plate sugar tongs is designed in a stylish
Neoclassic
pattern of stylized palm fronds, laurel leaves and wings. It bears the maker’s mark of the
Ercuis
company consisting of the image of a centaur. The
Ercuis
silver manufacturing company was created in 1867 in the village of
Ercuis
, north of Paris. This antique pair of French sugar tongs is in very good condition with the exception of faint scratches due to normal use. Please refer to the detailed photos on this page.
