Rare Antique Christofle Gallia Table Centerpiece Vase Holder Circa 1890
Beautiful antique heavily silver plated table piece by Orfevrerie Gallia (Christofle) in Louis XV style. The holder is fully decorated with garlands and ornaments. The vase, is a hand blown French heavy glass modern replacement, as the original vase was not present so we have sourced a suitable replacement. Silk braided trim added to cushion the glass against the metal frame. The vase is included in the sale. In excellent overall condition, plating is still bright and shiny, usual signs of age use and wear. Exceptionally rare item.
