Rare Antique Christofle Silver Plated & Wooden Table Box Circa 1880 - 1900s

Rare Original Silver Plated & Wooden Box by Christofle with full Christofle Gallia marks.
Good overall condition, plating is still bright, some rubbing, surface marks, signs of age and use, commensurate with the clear pictures. You will receive the item pictured, so the photographs are integral to the condition report and listing.
The 4 feet have been removed at some stage but this is not noticeable and could easily be replaced
Magnificent ART NOUVEAU Antique CHRISTOFLE &CO Silver Plated & Wooden Box made in Paris France Offered here is a magnificent BOX This is from the ART NOUVEAU Period and dates to circa 1880 - 1900s . The design is fabulous . There are stylised ART NOUVEAU pierced metalwork in the form of leaves which overlays a cedar wood background which also forms the inner casing of this piece. This design extends around all four of its sides. The lid is equally as good with some scuffs and marks . The laurel leaves are repeated on the lid , and the top has a superb domed graduated shape. This has the Original hinges and they are in
full working
order as you would expect for a piece of this quality. The impressed Christofle Gallia mark is present on the base The 4 feet have been removed at some stage but this is not noticeable and could easily be replaced
